Our normal donut store was closed so we came here. Not sure if it was because we came pretty late or not but the donuts didn't have much variety and seems smaller compared to other donut shops. The people that were there eating in were mainly drinking coffee so maybe next time we'll try one of their drinks.

As a kid, Winchell's was synonymous with donuts, like "Xerox" was used interchangeably with "photocopy." There seems to be fewer of these stores around these days, which is too bad, because Winchell's is everything a donut store should be: clean, organized, affordable, and offer a wide selection.
I'm on a donut hiatus-- health goals and stuff. But in Rowland Heights, on those cold swim meet mornings at the high school, you can't beat this place for convenience. Couldn't find a 7 Eleven south of the 60 on Colima, so this place became my coffee jam all weekend.
Jessica behind the counter was really sweet and took great care of me... even while some angry lady in front of me, who resembled a javelina with Oppositional Defiance Disorder, got all bent out of shape because she had to walk two steps to get packets of sugar for her coffee and seven donuts before waddling to her car, where she proceeded to consume all of them, crumbs covering the front of her sweatshirt. Only know 'cause she was parked next to me. Oh well, can't please everyone.
Keep up the good work, Jessica, and everyone at this Winchell's. Someday I'll be back in the apple fritter bandwagon, and I'm coming to see you. -

Ordered half a dozen donuts today,5/6 were fine. One of them had a piece of hair in it so I had to spit it out and throw the rest away. This is the first time this has happened but I'm disgusted and gagging.

Donuts, donuts, donuts!! My son loves donuts!
For his birthday party he requested a specific cake with donuts and dessert table filled with them! We ordered a special order and the staff couldn't be more patient with me. The Manager, Marissa go the extra mile to make sure the orders were made correctly. She reassured me, stayed in contact with me and sent me pictures of what would go best for the special order. Thank you for all the sweets Winchell's! -

Love this place! I make special orders here all the time and they always make it on time and it's absolutely delicious. Special shout-out to Eric for baking these special orders. The staff is just fantastic. They should put out a tip jar.
